A wonderful washed coffee with lively fruit flavours of pear, apple and grape mixed with a succulent toffee and almond sweetness.  Cocoa notes and a hint of citrus on the crisp finish.

This coffee comes from a forested mountain farm in the Jinotega region at altitudes of 1,150-1,450m, north of Apanas Lake.  There is a focus on quality and sustainability – certified by the Rainforest Alliance, the coffee is shade grown and the owners of the farm provide education and housing for the workers.  A large portion of the estate is dedicated as a nature reserve.
